Fakhri Ahmed is an international journalist, television reporter, anchor and producer whose career and travels have been driven by a wish to understand the people and stories behind the places we see in the news.
He has worked in Canadian broadcast journalism as a reporter, anchor and producer, where the job was to explain a story clearly and stand behind every line of it. Journalism taught him to question what looks obvious and to understand people beyond headlines.
He has travelled to 23 countries out of curiosity about people, cultures, communities and politics, meeting people and seeing places that rarely match the way they are described. Those experiences are a large part of why Unseen Borders exists.
He founded the company to build an international media company focused on getting closer to the story, asking better questions, and giving audiences a deeper understanding of the world.
