Services

Journalism, documentary and field services

Unseen Borders offers three services. All three rest on the same base: reporting, research, editorial judgment and careful production. They are for broadcasters, news and current-affairs teams, production companies and institutions that need factual work.

01

International Journalism & Current Affairs

Reporting from where the story is, with the context that makes sense of it.

We report on international and political stories for broadcast and digital platforms. The work starts with field research, on-the-ground interviews and the editorial judgment to decide what is established, what is not, and what an audience needs in order to understand.

02

Documentary & Factual Production

Documentaries built on research, access and time, not on a shot list.

We develop and produce short and feature-length factual films, from first research to final delivery. Our approach is to spend time with the people in the story and to shape the film around what the reporting supports.

03

Production Services

Two languages, one editorial standard.

International productions often need more than a translator. We offer Arabic-English field producing, interviews, translation and local research for international productions and news teams, by people who work in both languages and understand the context as well as the words.

Commissioning a factual film

Brands, agencies and institutions are welcome to commission factual work. Commissioned and sponsored work is disclosed to the audience, and the commissioner does not decide what our reporting concludes. See our Standards.
